Healthy Snacks Recipes for KidsFruit Sticks RecipeFruit sticks are healthy and delicious low calorie snacks that make eating fruit a fun. This recipe uses mandarines, apples and grapes but you can use any type of solid fruit in season such as strawberries, cantaloupe, pears and honey dew melon. Serves: This Recipe Serves 4. Ingredients: 1. Two mandarins, peeled 2. One red apple, diced 3. One green apple, diced 4. One cup green grapes (stem removed) 5. One tablespoon lemon juice 6. Yoghurt for dipping 7. Eight Wooden skewers Method of Preparation: 1. Thread mandarin, apple and grape pieces on to the wooden skewers. 2. Using a brush, brush lemon juice over the top of the fruit skewers. 3. Serve immediately with yoghurt of your choice. Rockmelon and Raspberry Cooler Recipe Both rockmelon and raspberry are very nutritious and your child will love to eat them. Raspberries are rich in anti-oxidants and other nutrients. Rockmelon, or cantaloupe, is an excellent source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, potassium, fiber, folate, Vitamin B6 and niacin. Serves: This Recipe Serves 2. Ingredients: 1. Half small rockmelon, skin and seeds removed 2. 1/4 cup raspberries (fresh or frozen) 3. One tablespoon raspberries extra (for garnish) Method of Preparation: 1. Place rockmelon and raspberries in processor or juicer. 2. Process until juice is formed. 3. Place in fridge and chill for about one hour. Stir until combined. 4. Pop extra raspberries on top for garnish. Strawberry and Watermelon Juice Recipe Both strawberry and watermelon are very refreshing and delicious fruits and when put together they make an extremely yummy drink for your kid. Strawberry and watermelon juice is a great way to help your kid achieve weight loss goal. Serves: This Recipe Serves 1. Ingredients: 1. Half cup strawberries, hulled 2.
